FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE True Power Fighting
Back Auburn, MA August 11, 2007 – Confidence in a modern world is a reasonable goal for women who have developed the true power of Self Defense. The way we walk, talk and act can be a targeting factor for attackers, or we can be trained to make those very actions the cornerstone of a truly powerful self defense system. McCoy’s Action Karate, as part of its Community Service Series, is hosting a FREE True Power Self Defense Class for women Saturday August 11th, 2007, 2:00 – 3:30pm. Attendees can expect to learn a Powerful and Proven self defense system that uses verbal, non-verbal and physical self defense techniques in this one short class. Each attendee will also receive a free booklet outlining many of the misconceptions of violence and proper response to it. This class is designed for women age 16 and up. Teenagers age 13 to 15 may attend with an adult also taking the class.
McCoy’s Action
Karate has taught 1000’s of women and teen-age women Self Defense as part of its
mission of community service. Building confidence, skill, and empowering women
is one of the personal goals of Anne McCoy, the owner, and all of the staff. The
Class will be held at the Auburn McCoy’s Action Karate, but is open to anyone in
the general area of any of their schools in Auburn, Spencer or Sturbridge, MA.
